Terms of Service
These terms apply when you purchase or use BlurShield, a macOS menu-bar application ("BlurShield", "the app"). By purchasing a licence or installing the app, you agree to these terms.
1. Licence
Each licence key is sold under one of two plans: Single Mac (one Mac) or Three Macs (up to three Macs you personally own or control), on a one-time-purchase basis. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and run BlurShield on the number of Macs covered by your plan. You may not resell, sublicense, or share your licence key beyond that limit.
2. Purchases and payment
Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller of record. Paddle handles payment collection, tax, and invoicing for your order, and your statement may show a charge from Paddle rather than BlurShield directly.
3. Refunds
If BlurShield isn't working for you, contact home@blurshield.app and we'll work it out with you. Refunds requested within 14 days of purchase are granted
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app outside the licence granted above, and not to use it in a way that violates applicable law.
5. No warranty
BlurShield is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlurShield's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for your licence.
7. Updates
BlurShield may check for and install software updates automatically. Your licence covers updates to the version of BlurShield you purchased; a future major version may be offered as a separate paid upgrade.
8. Termination
We may revoke a licence key found to be shared, resold, or used in violation of these terms. You may stop using the app and request removal of your data at any time by contacting support.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of BlurShield after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Trademarks
Mac, MacBook, macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. BlurShield is an independent product and not affiliated or endorsed by Apple.
